The Charles Street Pantry is centrally located Café right in the heart of Launceston with on street parking and two major car parks within 100 metres of the Café.

Regulars call us The Pantry, and we are known for our great coffee, range of lunch options, early morning breakfasts, fresh juices and plenty of room to catch up with a friend or two over a brew and delicious snack.

The Pantry's food and beverage menu is extensive, freshly made on the premises, flexible, and provides many healthy eating options. Our menu is complimented by friendly, professional, and fast service. We take care of any dietary requirements and already have many gluten free options as standard on our menu. If you are on the run all our menu bar the breakfast can be taken-away.

The Charles Street Pantry is a Tasmanian family owned business, employing talented Tasmanians that provide you with that quality brew, pastry, snack or substantial meal. It has continued to grow over the past 15 years due to the attention to detail the staff provide their customers and the produce they serve.

Phil & the team are up early Monday to Saturday making, baking, brewing and catering to your every need. We have ample space inside and outside, as well as racks to park your pushbike safely.

Please note; to ensure we supply exactly what you need for your business meeting catering we require 48 hours notice.
Orders can be collected or delivered to your function, or delivered orders need to greater than $100 in value and there a delivery fee of $10 within the CBD.

Orders outside the CBD are subject to distance and time.

The Pantry Lounge

The Pantry Lounge is an ideal place to catch up with friends.

It’s air conditioned and you can relax on one of the leather couches or bucket chairs whilst enjoying a light snack, lunch, breakfast or coffee.

The Pantry Lounge is available for group bookings for your next breakfast meeting or morning tea function and catering packages are available to suit all needs.

Bike Friendly

Bikes, Lycra and coffee - we cater for the bikes, definitely the coffee and we don’t discriminate if you wear Lycra ;-) or if you’ve been on a long training ride, one of healthy protein shakes can start your recovery perfectly.

Whether there is one, two or your regular bunch the Pantry is a great way to relax with a brew and snack and engage in some quality post ride banter.

We have three bike racks so your steed can be stored safely and well out of the way of passers-by.
